Thanks for the massage, felt great for the rest of the surf trip! — Graeme.

It all started when…

I took my first independent contractor position at Fluid Movement in North Vancouver. I learned so much from the patients that visited that establishment, a beautiful big building on the water just off the Lion’s Gate. I was so lucky to learn from keen athletes, seasoned body workers and massagees who would not hesitate to explain and show me things about their bodies and what they learned from massage.

Then, in Yaletown, Mark and Ryan stole the show with the skookum Spruce BodyLab at 1128 Richards. I was so impressed and excited to learn that an RMT owned the place. Ryan is someone I aspire to be more like, I’d bet, almost every day of my life. Besides having an amazing leader and boss, I had the most amazingly gracious and kind, clean, active, and participating-in-life patients when I worked at Spruce BodyLab.

Next came Tofino, and in fifteen years I haven’t looked back. The complex injuries, stoke of morale, and kindness of the patients keep the clinic operating with a buzz. It is quaintly located in the heart of downtown with its peaceful courtyard-facing windows for freshness in the treatment room and there’s parking too!
